Dearest Aunt Pamela, Janet, Angela, Brenda and family;
Words, of course, cannot express the feelings of true loss and sympathy that we all feel at the very sudden passing of your husband and Dad. It is an enormous loss for you of such a loving and caring man. My family feels a very similar loss, a special loss, as he was such an important part of my Dad's (and ours) life as his twin brother. They both shared so many times together. I have now very fond memories, as a child and an adult, of the special times, as families, that we shared together. I will always remember his humour and that special, funny laugh.
I will be with you on Thursday.

To Pam and all the Rathbone Family
I was really shocked to hear about Bruce's death. We worked together for 12 years at Wycliffe. Bruce was full of love and cheeriness and always saw the bright side of things.
My heart goes out to you Pam...we all loved Bruce and wish him well on his latest journet. Love

It is will saddness that I have learned of the sudden passing of Bruce. I have many fond childhood memories of hanging out around the Rathbone household on Delhi. In later years when I ended up working in 32 Division (and patrolling the old neighbourhood), Bruce and I would often chat at the end of the driveway getting caught up. Dad still reflects on some of their interesting "nights on the town" so many years ago.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Bruce was a pillar of St Timothy's Church; he worked tirelessly for his parish and was loved by all. My heart goes out to you, Pamela! Unfortunately, because I am on the train to Ottawa at this moment, I will not be able to attend the funeral, but I will be thinking of you, and will visit you, Pamela, as soon as I can.
