Aways enjoyed talking to this wonderful man at all the Probus meetings ,He was special. My condolences to all his family and friends and his brother Gary . He will be missed

To the GILBERT family,
I am Holly Wainwright ( Vuong ).
Back in 1980 when I arrived in Canada after being sponsored by the United church in AURORA.
I began to start a new life here in Aurora with so much love and caring Bud made me feel like part of his family, with the help from my sponsors I slowly made a life here with my own family,
Bud and June were always there for me making sure things were right for me just like my own parents would, They always included me in their life though out time, Bud was like a father, you couldn't have had a better person in your life than Bud,
My family always enjoyed coming to visit him and his family every time we could, I give my condolences to his family and friends, I am very lucky to have known such a special person for so many years . He was joking and laughing with us when ever we were with him, He will be truly missed by all that knew him,
And especially me , Holly

I am very saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. He was such an outgoing and vibrant person. I have many great memories of Uncle Bud when we had family gatherings as a child and later in life when we had the opportunity to get together. I am sorry that I cannot make it to the celebration of his life. My condolences to all of you.
