Carley Allison Obituary

ALLISON, Carley Elle —

Passed away peacefully in Toronto, Ontario on March 31, 2015 at the age of 19. Carley was survived by her father, Mark Allison, her mother, May Allison (nee Alizadeh), her sisters, Riley and Samantha and her very dear friend, John Servinis.

Carley courageously confronted her rare illness and refused to allow it to silence her passions, namely enjoying the company of her loved ones, competing in figure skating, writing music and singing. In so doing, she inspired many others afflicted with cancer and positively enriched the lives of everyone she came into contact with. Words cannot describe how much she will be missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to RJCF - Carley's Angels (please see https://sites.google.com/a/autoplanet.com/rjcf---carley-s-angels/) for donation information.

Friends are invited to a celebration of Carley's life to be held at the Millennium Gardens Banquet Centre, 20 Polonia Avenue, Unit 100, Brampton, on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. (words of inspiration from 7:30 to 8:15). Condolences www.rskane.ca

Carley, I didn't know you but I've just seen Kiss and Cry! You had such amazing courage and so does your family and loved ones to share your story like this! I hope that the Allison family find comfort in knowing that Carley's story has touched the lives of so many people all around the world.

Although belated I hope that the Allison family will accept our sincere condolences on the death of Carley. The days of summer camp and soccer with Shannon will always be remembered. It was apparent to all that Carley was a brave young woman who refused to let her illness prevent her from enjoying what she wanted to do with her life and loving her family to the fullest. She presented herself to many people and her presence will remain with us all.

I have followed Carley's story as my young daughter was diagnosed with cancer shortly before Carley and had the same surgeon. What a brave, beautiful girl and strong family behind her. She was a treasure and it's clear that she was treasured. Your special girl will be remembered.

Such an inspiration...my heart aches for the loss of a beautiful and talented young woman. She did more to inspire in her short life than most do in a long full one...how lucky those were to be touched by Carley's light xo
