CAROL ELIZABETH PAPPAS With a huge loss in our heart, Carol Elizabeth (Payne-Miller) Pappas passed away October 7, 2016, at age 86 after battling with Alzheimer's for several years. Carol was born January 3, 1930. Carol will be remembered for her enthusiasm and energy to live each day full of the activities she loved best... gardening, cooking, golfing and creating a home full of laughter and love. Carol will be greatly missed by her husband of 45 years, John Pappas, her children and their spouses, Carol, Patricia, Johnny, Elizabeth, Christine and Jeffery. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport), 905-440-3595, on Sunday, October 16th from 12:00 p.m. until time of the Service to Celebrate Carol's life at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at DeStefano Funeral Home.
