CATHERINE "KAE" DOWNEY (nee DONEGAN) Longtime Wardrobe Mistress/ Dresser from 1980-2010 in Toronto Theater and Member of IATSE Local 822 Passed away on Sunday December 21, 2014 at Southlake Regional Health Centre in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Joseph Marshall for 64 years. Loving mother of Michael (Madeleine), Patti (Bob Harrison), James (Susan), Teri (Gary Gerus) and Kelly (Joseph Mondino). Cherished grandmother of Marty, Bobby, Marlena, Sarah, Jessica, Pietro, Jaymee and Michael. Dear sister of Mona Lewis and Jack Donegan. Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Sarah Donegan and her brother James. Kae will be fondly remembered for her quick wit and sense of humour. Many great memories were had travelling with Joe to Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Great Britain, Europe, across Canada, skiing in St. Moritz and many annual family trips to Florida and summers spent at Balsam Lake. Visitation will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, 905-727-5421, on Friday December 26th from 6-8 p.m. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, December 27th at 11 a.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated.
