CHARLES NEIL SIMPSON

CHARLES NEIL SIMPSON December 2, 1928, Nelson, BC December 11, 2015, Gravenhurst, ON Died peacefully at Muskoka Shores Retirement Home. Husband of Beverley, father of Doug, Rob (Donna), Gord (deceased), Ron (Jodi), Charlie (Steph) and Carol Ann (deceased), grandfather of Greg, Ashley, Sean, Mat and Beth and great-grandfather of Mia, Ava, Charlotte and Logan. Charles served in the U.S. Forces in Korea and returned a decorated hero. He enlisted in the RCAF and taught flying at Claresholm, Alberta. He then worked as an Air Traffic Controller at Pearson Airport. Following that, he worked as an Airport Planner in Canada and then for the U.N. in Beirut and Khartoum. A Memorial Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church in Gravenhurst, Monday, December 14th at 11 a.m. Thanks to Dr. Daniel and the wonderful staff at Muskoka Shores Retirement Home.
