Chris was born in Denby Dale, Yorkshire, England and arrived in Canada in 1967 where he grew up in Clarkson, Brampton, Guelph and Oakville. He is survived by his beloved fiancée Angela Savo, his two wonderful sons Bryan and Jeffrey, his father Harold (Ted), his brothers Steven and his wife Janice, Graham and Paul and his wife Brenda, his sister Sarah and her husband Scott (Simpson) and will be sorely missed by his nieces and nephews Brent, Mark, AJ, Amber, Mika, Kevin, Veronica, Charlotte and Sinclair, Angela's children Michael and Jenna, his former spouse Denise as well as close family friends Michelle Harewood and the Slaters, Keith, Rosalind, Diane, Hilary and Keirsten, Walter Sawdyk and Steve Deck. Predeceased by his son Michael and his Mum, his guardian angel Ruth Thompson. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, 905-877-3631, on Sunday, April 11, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Norval, Monday, April 12, 2010 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a trust will be set up for Bryan and Jeffrey with the details being available for Sunday. I worked with Chris at Duracell. The day he came in for his interview, he had just found out that he was to be a father (boy, did he need that job). He got the job, and was bright, talented, and contibuted a great deal to Duracell. I'm so glad to have known him, so sorry for his family. - Alan Bush

I had the pleasure of working with Chris during his career with Duracell. I will always remember his zest for life and the laughter we shared.
He left us all too soon and will be greatly missed.
