CHRISTOPHER VEIT The family of Chris Veit sadly announces his passing while on vacation in Miami, Florida, on Sunday, September 28, 2014, at age 54. Christopher Alexander Veit, husband of Ann and loving father of Heather and Eugene Grooms of Acton. Dear "Poppa Veit" of Melisa, Ella, Ross and Jillian. Also missed by siblings Mike (and Jane), Lindsay (and Carolyn), Andy (and Karen), Candy and their families. Predeceased by parents William and Mavis Veit. Family and friends will gather at Trinity United Church, 70 Mill Street East, Acton, on Saturday, October 25, 2014 for visiting from 1 to 2 p.m., with the Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the local Salvation Army in Acton.
