Corey was an amazing person
He rented a room in my home. He was caring,
Fun and a great friend and roommate
I always enjoyed our chats
We also worked together and he always had wonderful ideas to make work better
He was hardworking and truly stood up for for friends
I wish we did not lose touch these past years
And I will miss him

I was very sorry to hear this. I met Corey many years ago when he came to complete his internship in our department. He was dedicated, smart and earnest and one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of working with. My condolences to his friends and family. A true loss.

Corey will be missed.
I first met Corey at Channel 47,Cable 4. He was bright eyed, enthusiastic and full of ideas. (All traits that obviously stayed with him as he started up Media Jobs in Canada.)
My favourite memory is when Corey came to our home around Christmas time. Our boys were little and we were getting ready to decorate the tree. Corey told us he had never decorated a Christmas tree before. With the caroles on we watched Corey and our boys put all the ornaments on with enthusiasm. He was beaming. I think of it every year.
Jane Farr and I had lunch with Corey right after he was diagnosed with ALS. I cried when I left the restaurant as I knew what a cruel and devastating disease it is.
I reached out to Corey several times after but knew he had already said his goodbyes.
Livia and family. I'm sorry I can't be there this evening but send you our heartfelt sympathies for your loss.

Will never forget you, RIP, Basil
