We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Craig. Both my husband and I went to high school with Craig and then by coincidence I got to work with him later in film. He was always smiling, always so kind. We are sending our thoughts and prayers to his family.

It is with deep sadness that we heard of the death of your beloved Craig. I remember so well teaching Craig at St. Paul's and the light and joy he brought to all those he touched.. We were not surprised to hear that he became a teacher. May he now rest in the loving arms of God. May the loving support of family and friends bring to you, his family , strength and peace at this difficult time of loss. We regret not being at Craig's funeral mass as we are still in Florida. With our deepest condolences. Jim and Mary Caley

I haven't seen Craig in more than 20 years. I knew him in my youthful days; he was among the older crowd - those we looked up to but he was always approachable, there to offer intelligent yet practical solutions to any teen angst problem I might present. He was always sunny, smiling, laughing, loyal. As I grew up and went to university in the city I would run into Craig a few more times. He was somehow a remnant of my past but very current and running with a King Street art crowd. Again offering me very clear advice and a patient ear. It was so wonderful to know he was there in Toronto, another lone wolf who had broken from the pack. I want to say condolences to the Boland Family. Craig was a good man.

Dear Boland family,
I was shocked to hear the tragic news of Craig's passing. I met him at teachers college at Brock in 2012-13. He was in my cohort "I" group there. He quickly became friends with everyone with his laid back demeanour and gregarious outgoing attitude. He was always a source of laughter in work groups while doing projects. I knew he would make an ideal teacher because of his compassion and his willingness to help students find their pathway to success. I know his current and past students will miss him terribly, but will take away what they have learned with him for the rest of their lives. Our Cohort "I" and "H" groups at Brock were all deeply saddened to hear the news and have been in contact with each other over the past few days. Please accept our condolences. May the Peace and Grace with with you all and may you find solace in the knowledge that Craig had a positive impact on so many lives that he came in to contact with.
