MOXLEY, Cyril John (Cy) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father, Cy Moxley, on Family Day, February 19, 2018. Papa was in his 89th year and had a great run. He was more than a husband, father, brother, grandpa and friend, he was a great man! His wisdom, kindness, generosity and guidance through four generations made us a much better family. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 67 years, Bernice, and his five children, David (Lesley), Geoffrey (Lisa), Cathy (Adrian), Lori (Scott) and Anne; 15 grandchildren, Nicole (Josh), Candice and Michael Moxley; Erin, Emily and Bryan Moxley; Jayme, Monica and Alanna Nagy; Matthew (Délia), Adam (Kelsey), and Carly White; Daniel, Nicholas and Ryan Porter and 2 great-grandchildren, Payton and Jacob Roberts. He is also survived by his two sisters Marie (Ted) Merriman and Dorothy Moxley. Cy was predeceased by his brother Vincent and sister Margaret. Cy began his career with Canada Decalcomania, a world class print operation, as a stock-boy at age 16 and over the next forty-odd years, rose to be the Managing Partner. He also founded and mentored the formation of Rinkboards Inc. another world class arena signage business. He made many lasting friendships along the way. We would especially like to thank the management and staff of Woodhaven Residence in Markham, Justina and ShuPing you are truly saints! As per his wishes, there will be a private interment to be followed by a Dixieland wake at the Meadowbrook Golf and Country Club in Markham on March 18, 2018 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society or The Salvation Army.
