Cyril WALTON Obituary

WALTON, Cyril - Peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in his 90th year. Loving husband of the late Audrey and proud father of Adrian and his wife Janice. Also sadly missed by his cherished companion Eileen Barclay and her family as well as many close friends and relatives. Cremation has taken place and a gathering will follow at a later date. Warmest thanks to the Palliative Care team at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion and for making the last weeks of his life enjoyable. My dad and Cy met and spent the last nine weeks of their life together at Sunnybrook. I will always remember sitting outside in the Veteran's Garden with the two of them, talking and talking or just enjoying the sun. Cy was a wonderful man and so proud of his son - so happy with what life had given him. Every time I go to a library I will think of him. I wish he and my dad had met sooner - I wish I had met Cy earlier. Adrian, I will miss your dad very much and cherish the time I had with him.
