DANIEL ROBERT KIMMERER

KIMMERER, DANIEL ROBERT Daniel "Dan" Robert Kimmerer, at the age of 59. A beloved husband, father, friend, educator, and coach, passed away in the early hours of July 18, 2022. He is survived by: his wife of 30 years, Marie Kimmerer; his three children, Savannah, Christopher, and Roddy Kimmerer; his mother, Margret Brodie; and brother, David Russell "Russ" Kimmerer (Deb) and their daughter, Amanda. Born in East York in 1963, Dan was energetic and charming, whose love of athletics led him to compete as a long distance runner throughout his life. A zealous participant in the lives of his children, nieces, and nephews (whom he coached and/or cheered on whenever possible); he is remembered for his passion of engaging students past and present with activities that empowered them. His family would like to thank the first responders, Wartman Funeral Home, and countless other community members for their support. A Private Celebration of Life will be held in August.
