Dave Slade Obituary

June 28, 1953 - April 8, 2016
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dave. Cherished husband of Barbara (Cannata). Devoted "dad" to Christopher Manza (Shelly) and Ryan Manza (Jenn). Adored grandpa of Aiden, Cayley and Koa. Dave was the beloved son of Phoebe Larmour and the late Shirley John Slade and son-in-law of Sheila Cannata and the late Tom Cannata. Dave will be sincerely missed by his family and friends. His caring, gentle nature and wonderful smile would brighten our day. His "boy" Ozzy misses him so much.
A celebration of Dave's life will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. in Prince of Peace Church Hall, 265 Alton Towers Circle (one block south of Steeles, west of McCowan), Scarborough. Cremation has taken place. As per Dave's request, there will be no service.

Dave always spoke of you Barb as his wonderful wife. I would overhear him on the phone with you and it was a loving and caring conversation. Dave was great to be with as he always brought humour with him to share with all.
