DAVID AIELLO Obituary

AIELLO, DAVID ORAZIO ANTHONY February 4, 1962 - January 26, 2023 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Orazio Anthony Aiello. With heart complications, David left us suddenly to join our loved ones in Heaven, on January 26, 2023. A loving father to Raffael, Bezalel, Avraham and wife Rochel-Leah, Joseph and Nachman, husband of Leah Aiello, son of Helen Aello and David and Sharon Aello, and brother to Mary Aello, Bani Aello, Deb Taylor, and Deborah Aello. Born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, David was a loving brother to his three little sisters. Dave's well-rounded intelligence was in the arts, as well as science and math. Dave was valedictorian in elementary school and went on to earn several academic awards in high school. Graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Dave's first job as a chartered accountant was at Coopers and Lybrand, where he rapidly excelled. Dave went on to build successful international businesses in Canada, Israel and beyond, while being a fully focused, committed father to his children and a loving husband. Dave's work in product development and distribution always had a focus on helping people live healthier, more vibrant lives. Dave's vibrancy was beyond compare. He followed his heart with confidence in a way that continues to inspire. His most recent interest had been in stem cell research and therapy. Dave had exciting plans to expand his work in the newly developed longevity research. This special and talented man played the Spanish and classical guitar and piano and spoke eight languages fluently. He would wow those around him as he broke out into a new language for business communication or for friendship. Dave painted with oils and created beautiful perfume scents in his free time. Moving to Jerusalem, settling his family there for the past seven years, was yet another adventure Dave bravely took on. David will be missed dearly by many. Details on a Memorial Service to honour David's wonderful life will be forthcoming.

It has been a while since I received the news. It really had an impact, and rarely has a day gone by since that day that I have not thought about him. I feel so honoured to respect David on the anniversary day, January 26th.

It is clear from the obituary, that David“s many attributes shone through in his life whether it be business or personal interests. He had the ability to combine his intellect, bravery, charm among others and synergize them into a greater result. We both attained our accounting designations, but he always had such a broader sense of purpose/goals.

As a somewhat whimsical comment, even today I hear his somewhat unique yet infectious laugh when the moment calls for it.

To those in his family that I know, I extend my heartfelt condolences and to his extended family I share your loss.

Very proud to have known him, and now sad to have lost him.

David was truly an inspiration. He was such a wonderful, intelligent and deeply caring person. I enjoyed spending time with him discussing so many of our shared interests. He taught me so much about generosity, sympathy and selflessness. His drive to make the world a better place was contagious. His vision for a healthier happier and well rounded society was something I admired greatly. I will miss him very much. My condolences to his family.

Dear Leah, and Entire Aiello Family!

I am writing to express my deepest condolences upon receiving the heartbreaking news about David's passing. My heart aches for you and your family during this incredibly difficult time.

David was an incredible mentor and friend to me. I will always remember the days we spent together doing personal training with your kids, and how he generously shared his invaluable knowledge and experience with me when we talked business. I feel so blessed to have known him, and I will always cherish his friendship.

What I will always remember most about David was his kind and generous spirit, and his unwavering commitment to performing Mitzvot. He had a heart of gold and always put others before himself. His kindness and willingness to help those in need will never be forgotten.

Please know that I am here for you and your family during this difficult time. I hope that the memories of David will bring you comfort and peace in the days ahead. Although he will be deeply missed, his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Sending you all my warmest wishes and deepest condolences. Please share your personal contact and the kids, to stay in touch.
