DAVID WEBSTER BATESON

BATESON, DAVID WEBSTER It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Dave, at Trillium Health Partners: Mississauga Site, on January 15, 2023. Born in London, Ontario, on July 25, 1939, Dave was predeceased by his parents, Dr. F. R. Varcoe Bateson and Geraldine (nee Webster); as well as his brother, John; and sister-in-law, Shirley. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 48 years, Susan (nee Miller); their cherished son, Andrew; niece, Carrie McConnachie (Scott); and nephew, Todd (Angie); along with their families. Dave was a very kind and devoted family man. He will be remembered for his keen mind, sharp wit, and love of jazz. Dave was happiest while spending time at his cottage on Little Hawk Lake in Haliburton. He will be sadly missed by his much-loved family, friends, and neighbours. Cremation has taken place and, at Dave's request, no services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
