DAVID COULMAN Obituary

COULMAN, DAVID HUNTER With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David Hunter Coulman, at 83 years of age on February 6, 2023. Born May 12, 1939, in Toronto, he is mourned by his beloved wife of 58 years, Mary Patricia (née Catanach); and predeceased by his parents, William and Stella (née Hunter), and siblings, William, Robert and Catherine. He is survived by his children, Elizabeth Burrows (Frank), Stephen (Lisa) and Thomas (Jennifer). His grandchildren, Nathan, Benjamin, Hayden, Taylor, Luke, Jack, Zachary and Ella, were the light of his life and he thought, "the air fairly sparkles with love and fun when we are all together." Though he worked in marketing and advertising for most of his career, his passions were his dear, dear family, friends and neighbours, trains and streetcars, and cryptic crosswords. An expression of gratitude goes to the care and concern shown by staff at 6J Medicine at Mississauga Hospital; and the amazing and loving staff at Ian Anderson House. We will remember his wry humour and his place in our hearts on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at St. Peter's Anglican Church, with a time of fellowship to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Ian Anderson House, Oakville, or the Deacon's Cupboard at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Erindale, where he volunteered for years during his retirement. There are many happy memories associated with our David. If you would like to share them with the family, at their request condolence messages and service details can be found by visiting the Turner & Porter website: www.turnerporter.ca
