I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear of David's tragic passing. I had the pleasure of working with David at SkyDome (Controlled Media) from 1993 to 1998 and have many fond memories of those years. My sincere condolences to David's family.

It was with such sadness that I learned the news of David's passing. We were colleagues for a number of years. He was a friend and mentor and always, always a bright smile every day. My condolences to his dear family.

Dave was a great guy whom I had the pleasure of sharing many laughs and good times with in high school at Kelvin. My sincere condolences to his family. I will always remember the Jewish Bomber!

My condolences to Jeff, Lori, Kenny and David's family and extended family. I am so sad to hear of this terrible tragedy.
Lost touch over the years and tried to contact David and Jeff back in August when I had a flashback of our days together in the 80's. Memories of watching Miami Vice at the Dusang's with David, Jeff and Jay before we all went out. We'd be dressed up with all three of them looking like Don Johnsons with their hair slicked back. Sometimes it was tough to get David out of the basement from his boxing to go out for some fun with us. He was a great guy, very focused and dedicated.

A very tough day to learn of this very unfortunate and tragic loss. We met in the 80´s and kept in touch when he moved to Toronto. We both loved boxing, he as the fighter and me as the promoter.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of my friend David. Time will never dull the fond memories and great times shared with David in Winnipeg and Toronto. Dave was a great guy. I went to school with him from elementary through high school. I was so sorry to hear about his untimely passing. God Bless him and his family. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family.

So very sad to hear about David passing away so suddenly. I worked with David in the media business for many years, and he was a great sales rep. His passion for selling and enthusiasm for business was infectious. In business meetings he talked about his family and children, and they were the most important part of his life. I will miss him and the great talks we used to have about family.

I am so sorry to hear of David's untimely passing. As a sportswriter with the Winnipeg Free Press, I covered most of David's fights, and knew him very well. He was one of the best boxers to come out of Manitoba and Canada, and always a gentleman.
I offer my highest condolenses to David's family and friends as they mourn his death.
