David Foss Obituary

FOSS, David James - Passed away after a brief illness at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on July 10, 2011 at the age of 51. Loving son of Allan Thompson Foss and the late Jean B. Foss. Brother of Gordon Allan Foss (Saeeda). David will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Friends may call at Pine Hills Visitation Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave., 416-267-8229) on Wednesday, July 13th from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, July 14th from 12 to 1 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Pine Hills Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 1 p.m. Interment to take place at Pine Hills Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.

I met Dave before 5th grade, he lived down Bonacres a few houses. We have wonderful fun those years until I moved after 10th grade. Although I didn't know him as an adult, I considered him an awesome friend.

I first met Dave on a kayaking trip in 2005. We will remember him on a paddling trip this weekend on Georgian Bay. He was a very kind and nice individual. We will miss him.
