He was predeceased by his parents Dr. David Glassey and Anne Nesbitt-Glassey and his brother Jeremy. David Glassey was a fellow church brother of Danforth Gospel Hall. We've known him for over 20 years. David was one of the most intelligent person we have ever met. You could discuss any subject with David and you would be amazed of how knowledgeable he was at every subject. David will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his faith in the Lord. He surely will be missed.

Mr Glassey was my grade 6 teacher at Hilltop Public School in Etobicoke in 1964. I remember a funny, compassionate and caring teacher. He took time to teach an eager 11 year old all about rocks and minerals. Rest in peace Mr Glassey. Forever remembered.

David was our cousin....the last of the chilgren of our Uncl Bill and Aunt Ann Glassey. My brother Larry Wilson went to UTS at the same time as David. The last contact I had with David, was s wonderful phone call from him about 3 Christmaes ago. Wish I had known him better. We shared many happy memories of our times at the cottage at Glassey Island on Stoney Lake.
Unfortunately there is not enough time to attend his memorial..

David was a sweet genius and an educated man of letters... beautiful letters, graphics, all freehand drawn with laser like accuracy. He also was interested in sharing his vast knowledge of science with others. He will be missed. Heaven's gain is our loss.
