David was a dedicated reliable professional with an amazing ability to imitate a siren. I will always cherish the times he invited me into his home at Baby Point.

I am truly saddened to hear of the passing of David . I remember him as a genuine and kind man with a great sense of humour. I grew up hearing his name quite often when my Dad -Ernie Morrison spoke about the Masonic lodge . My heartfelt sympathies to you and your family at this very difficult time .

Iain, and family, very sorry to hear this news. Dave was such a presence with the Tor Scots - where I met him - and I loved his unique sense of humour. He was always the first to see amusement in the irrational worlds of piping/military. I can think of many arch comments wafting from the back of the room or bus! I will definitely miss seeing him at the games. My sincere condolences.
