Passed away peacefully at Trillium Health Partners, Mississauga, on December 4, 2014 at age 80. Beloved husband to Theresa B. Heyworth. Loving father to Katie Kaiser. Devoted grandfather to Mitchell. Survived by his brother Richard (Sheila) Heyworth. He will be fondly remembered by his many family and friends. Friends may call at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE, 1535 South Gateway Rd., Mississauga (Dixie Rd., 2 lights south of Eglinton Ave., 905-602-1580) on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 1-2 p.m. for a Memorial Gathering, with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Condolences on your loss...Dave was a long time police officer when i started in 1978, his stories and experineces were rivetting and i learned many things from him over the years. A real gentleman!!

Our condolences to Theresa and family. Dave was a very kind and caring person and he made working in SAIB (now MCB) a fun and happy place to be. Blessings and prayers... Rest in peace my friend...Love Marty

I worked with Dave a number of years ago in what was then "SAIB". The consummate professional, with a sense of humour to rival most. I enjoyed working with and learning from him!
