My condolences to Dave's Family.
I had the great pleasure of working with Dave during his career as one of the best Industrial Audiometric Technicians, loved and respected by both co workers and the many people he impacted with his work.
I knew it was going to be a great day when working with Dave who was always ready to help in any way and of course, that huge smile.
Will be greatly missed.

Very saddened to hear of David's death.

I got to know David in the early 1960's when we both worked at the Rootes Motors HQ at Eglinton and Worden in Scarborough, and we became fast friends. David ran the graphics and print shop and it was always a great place for young people at Rootes to spend time -- unofficially! -- because David was such a fun and welcoming person.

Beyond the workplace David and I enjoyed messing around with cars and together we spent a lot of time working on his Mini, also when I was racing my little Sunbeam Imp at Harewood and Mosport, David was always ready to come and crew. Whether at work or play he was ever cheerful and eager to help others. He and I lost touch after Rootes folded its doors, but we reconnected in the mid-1990's and got together several times after that, meeting Mary-Anna, Brendan and Allison, also going with him to the Detroit Auto Show with his buddies, the two Michaels.

Mary-Anna, Brendan and Allison, We are so sorry for your loss. David was one great guy.

Dave was a sweetheart of a man and will be sorely missed by those that knew him. He and I worked together at WMC for many years and he was one of the best mobile hearing technicians we ever had. He was universally liked by everyone and is without a doubt a WMC hall-of-famer. It was great knowing you.

We’ll miss you Dave.
