DAVID FRASER RITCHIE BA, BBA, RCAF 411/126 sqn., O.C. RAF 126/680 sqn. David, of Ritchie's Auction House, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2015 in his 94th year. A Celebration of Life will be held by his family on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 3-5 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Visitation Centre at 375 Mount Pleasant Rd., Toronto, ON. Friends of David are welcome. Speeches and presentation shortly after 3 p.m. and refreshments to follow. Please RSVP to 416-274-8117 or [email protected]

I had the honour of becoming friends with David while he lived independently at 35 Boardwalk Drive. We met in the exercise room. David exercised daily with enthusiasm.
I referred to him lovingly as my hero.
I have always been interested in World War I & I I. Having conversations with a Spit Fire pilot was an incredible honour and gift. He shared many stories of the auction business, his childhood, our shared passion for our pets and history.
David was a beautiful person and a true gentleman.
