TOPPING, DAVID "DAVE" ALBERT "Dave" Albert, age 75, died suddenly on June 26, 2022, at his family home in Greenbank, Ontario. A resident of Greenbank, Ontario since 1993, Dave was born on August 30, 1946 in Brampton, Ontario, the third child in what was to become a busy household of six children to Ruth Viola (neé Cronin) and George Henry Topping. He married his beloved wife, Kirsten (neé Uldall Madsen) on January 13, 1968, in Toronto, Ontario. Dave was a proud father to Angela and MarLinda; and doting grandfather to McKala, Zoe, Emma, Ethan, and Jonah. He will be greatly missed by his sons-in-law, Tom Carley and Lonnie Zwaigenbaum, who came to understand and appreciate his wicked sense of humor and devotion to his family. Dave is lovingly remembered by his brother, Robert "Bobby"; and wife, Carol; and sister, "Moose" Mary; as well as many brothers- and sisters-in-laws; nieces; nephews; and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Barry, Roy, and James. Dave had a strong work ethic, enjoyed working with his hands and spending time with his grandchildren. Despite having mobility issues for many years, he worked hard to be present for his grandchildren and traveled far and wide to attend their celebrations. The family is grateful for the support of caregivers from St. Elizabeth Homecare Services and the many health care staff who made sure he was able to live at home with a good quality of life. As per Dave's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A private celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, July 2, 2022.
