We are so very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He and Helen were among the first to welcome us to Loon Call Lake in 1997. Our sons remember his legendary fishing skills and we will always remember his wonderful "radio voice" and warm smile. Laurie, Scott, Drew & Brad Phillips

On behalf of the executive and all the residents of Loon Call Lake, may I extend my condolences to Helen and her family on the Passing of her husband Dave. Dave was a special person on Loon Call and arguably, without him, Loon Call Lake might not even exist as a cottage lake.

Mary and I just learned about Dave's passing. We've only been at Loon Call since 2002 but always enjoyed talking with Dave. We will miss him, his love of the Lake and the historical connection he provided. Our condolences to Helen and the rest of his family...

MR Yielding was one of my favourite teachers at Lawrence. He always
teased me about chewing gum .He had a great way of relating to his students .My thoughts are with his family . He was a great teacher and made a difference to many of our lives He will be missed

I am very sorry to hear of Mr. Yieldings passing. I had him as a teacher at Lawrence Park Collegiate back in the early 60's.
