DEREK MAW Obituary
MAW, DEREK Passed peacefully at Chapman House Hospice surrounded by the love of his family, on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Derek Maw, of Annan at the age of 83 years. Dearly loved husband for 57 years of the late Linda (née Lemon) Maw (2016). Loving father of Kelly Maw and Justine Maw-Farrar (David), both of Owen Sound. Proud grandfather of Tyler, Dalton Tesslyn and Sam. Dear brother of Jean Brown (Allen) of Brighton and brother-in-law of Gordon Lemon (Elaine) of Trenton. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Nellie Maw, his sister Marie Barton, his two sons David and Robert Maw, and by his parents-in-law Gordon and Muriel Lemon. A graveside service for Derek will be held at the Annan Cemetery, Annan, on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Bill Bruce officiating. Many thanks to EPIC for helping Derek stay in his home for as long as he could. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Chapman House Hospice, Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce, or HCSS Day Away Program Meaford would be appreciated and can be made through the Brian E. If this is the same Derek, and it sure look like him, we went to high school together at Scarborough Collegiate on Kingston Road. I board with his family at Highland Creek when we both worked for Precision Prefab. I've been trying to connect with him for years but it seems I'm to late.
