AUSTIN, Donald Peacefully passed away at home on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Enid. Loving father of his 3 children: Glen (Beth), Bruce (Victoria) and Carol. Proud grandpa of his 9 grandchildren: Graham, Daniel, Laura, Jon, Kate, Chris, Mathew, Myles and Alex. Cherished brother of Dorothy (Bob) of Dundee, Scotland and brother-in-law of Frank Shuttleworth and Tom Hughes. Don was a graduate of the University of Toronto and grew up on Booth and Willow Avenues. Visitation was held at the Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division Street Bowmanville, on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service was held at Trinity United Church, 116 Church St. Bowmanville on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children.
