Donald Bitter Obituary

BITTER, Q.C., DONALD HARRY Donald Harry Bitter, Q.C., of Toronto, passed away peacefully, on December 31, 2021, with family by his side. Donald was a passionate defense lawyer, practicing law in Ontario for 60 years. He will be missed dearly by his family. Cremation and a private service have taken place. Due to public health concerns, a celebration of life will be held for family and friends at a later date. Memorial notes may be posted at: www.remembr.com/ donald.bitter

My deepest sympathy to your whole family. Don was a good friend of my dad´s, David Humphrey. I have very fond memories of him as a very warm, humorous and generous man. It was years ago that I was a mothers helper for your family one summer. He was a character and will be dearly missed. May your many cherished memories give you comfort. My heart goes out to you.

I was privileged to work with Don in our chosen profession for many years. He was not only a passionate defence lawyer. He was a fine gentleman with a great sense of humour. Don will be remembered by all who knew him.
