The other night we attended a presentation for Art Rennick receiving the Queens 60th Jubilee medal at the Ajax Council chambers and later retired to a bar to hug and chat. I mentioned to Barney (Alex Barnett) how your dad was so instrumental in the development of sports in Ajax and how wonderful it was to play for him. He had a low key approach and encouraged all of us enjoy the game. The many hours, weeks, years of devoting time, car, gas to take us all over to play games has never been forgotten. To your family - so great to see that your dad lived such a long and full life and from what Barney mentioned used to drive out to Cobourg for dinner every week. Give each other a hug and toast your dad. I'll see you on Monday. Cheers, jim chomey
