Don was a pleasure to create music with. I played Grannie on the Mr. Dress-Up show and always looked forward to singing with him, his sense of timing, beauty and grace. As he was in life, graceful and compassionate.

Donald taught Dalcroze Eurythmics pedagogy to me, and hundreds like me. He was such a gifted and inspiring musician, dancer and teacher. He will be missed!

OUR FRIEND:
The theme song Don Himes composed to open the Mr. Dressup show was a reflection of Don himself: bright, cheerful, and moving onward.
Every morning for thirty years Don's theme opened a magical world for children, 'The Mr. Dressup Show,'
to become the most popular children's television show ever, in Canada and around the world.
Don was our dear friend...and we will miss him.
The Mr Dressup writers for thirty years: Chris Clark, Lilly Barnes, Susan Marcus. Joy Newall

Thank you for the gift of your music. It has truly been with generations of Canadian children. Thanks also for your gift of dance and directing. Thank you for the gift of Donald . God Bless. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Henry at this difficult time.
