KERR, DONALD SELWYN Donald Selwyn Kerr, 88, of Brampton, Ontario, passed away peacefully, January 17, 2021, at his home surrounded by his wife and four children. Don was born January 24, 1932 in Oxbow, Saskatchewan. He graduated from the University of Alberta and transitioned into the finance world where he worked for General Motors Acceptance Corporation and after 42 years of service retired in 1996. He married Janice Mary Rooke on April 18, 1959 and together raised their four children. He spent most of his retirement days playing tennis, travelling, honing his incredible watercolor skills and enjoying the many sleepovers with his grandchildren. Don is survived by his wife Jan, David and his wife Kim (Ryan, Alec), Debbie Porter and her husband Colin (Jordan, Courtney), Peter and his wife Marlene (Matthew, Mikayla, Matthew (Bud), Erin), Karen and her husband Greg (Natalie, Sydney, Cameron). A private service will be held with interment of Cremated Remains and a Celebration of Life held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Ward Funeral Homes "Brampton" Chapel (52 Main Street S., Brampton).
