DONALD L. MacDONALD July 11, 1946 - March 26, 2014 It is with heavy hearts the family announces that Don/Daddy/Koko passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 26, 2014 at the age of 67. Survived by his High School sweetheart and the love of his life, Carol, his wife of 46 years. His cherished only child Tammy (Steve) Care and three amazing grandchildren Tanner (Tazman), Brayden (Bray), Jordyn (Goose), who all were the pride and joy of his life. Predeceased by his parents and two sisters, Don is survived by his eldest sister Dolly Russ and her family whom he loved. Also left behind are his good friends and brothers by marriage Jack (Linda) Moffatt and Mac (Cathy) Moffatt and their families. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Family will gather in the spring to return Don to his favourite peaceful retreat. Because Don was such a kind, quiet, gentle soul, in lieu of flowers, his wish is that you be kind to one another and kiss the ones you love every day as if it was your last.
