Donald McLEAN Obituary

McLEAN, CPA RIA (DOC), Donald John On September 5, 2018, after a long battle with Alzheimer's, Don McLean aged 90. Malvern Collegiate Institute class of '45, comptroller of McBee Systems, also Giles Tool Agency. Volunteer at Toronto East General Hospital, Anglican church warden at St. John's Norway and Nativity (Toronto). Son of Edgar and Bessie McLean of Toronto, predeceased by siblings Jim, Ethel (Homer Watson), Bill (Margaret Tapp) and Joan (John Fleury). Loved husband of 65 years of Doris (Loffree), father of Arthur (Sara Fornoff), grandfather of four, uncle of twelve. Many thanks to the staff of the palliative wing, Michael Garron Hospital. Cremation has occurred. A celebration of Don's life will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29th at St Nicholas Anglican Church, 1512 Kingston Road, Scarborough. In lieu of flowers, treat yourself to blueberries or fresh corn on the cob.
