Donald PRATT Obituary

PRATT, Donald Allen October 24, 1935 - October 24, 2017 At Credit Valley Hospital after a courageous response to kidney disease. Beloved husband, best friend and love of Joan for 56 years. Cherished brother of Frederick (late Shirley) and Robert (Joanne). Loving father of Joan (Rob Lash) and Gregory. Proud grandpa of Nick and Colin. Don will be missed by many family members, co-workers, friends and neighbours. He served 5 years in the Royal Canadian Navy, enjoyed a long career with Atlas Alloys, was a member of various community boards, and a dedicated coach and volunteer for youth sports. Don loved to travel and was an avid fan of baseball, hockey, golf and played piano. He was a kind, generous man with a heart of gold. He will be remembered for his insatiable wit and storytelling. We are forever blessed to have known him. A memorial visitation will be held at Turner & Porter "Neweduk-Erin Mills" Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy.), on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 4-7 p.m In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Canadian Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.ca) would be appreciated.
