DONALD YOUNG Obituary

DONALD ALLAN YOUNG 1938 - 2014 Passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Beloved husband of Bonnie Jane Young (Farr) and dear father of Gavin (Lisa), Eric (Kristen), Jonathan (Sasha), Jodie (Dave), Jaime (Anthony). Son of the late Rev Dr. Daniel and Audrey Young. Loving brother of Gwen Smith (the late Douglas), the late Doris Knott (Brian). Dear brother- in-law of George and Miriam Farr. Cherished grandfather of Caleb, Keagan, Spencer, Colten, Connor, Owen, Logan, Evan, Jaci, Katie, Marlee and Maya. Loving uncle to the many nieces, nephews and their families. Donald graduated from McMaster University. He taught physical education for 35 years in the London area and coached many athletes throughout his career. Don and Bonnie retired to Caledon in 1995 and moved to Elora in 2010. A service of remembrance will be held at the Elora United Church on Monday, July 28th, at 2:00 p.m., with a gathering to follow at Station Square Lounge. www.grahamgiddyfh.com 519-846-5352

I was a teacher with Don Young at Laurier. I remember him as great role model to his students. Perhaps God needed him to help get the angles in shape?

Dear Bonnie.
So sad to hear of Don's passing. Such a gentleman with a great sense of humour. I so enjoyed working on Mayfield committee with him. I pray your memories will ease the pain of loss.
