DONNA PIASECKI Obituary

DONNA PIASECKI (nee BROWNLEE) Passed peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Credit Valley Hospital, at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Dr. George Piasecki. Dear mother of Sandra and her husband Richard Jesson and James Piasecki and his wife Leigh-Ann. Loving grandmother of Jennifer, John, Matthew, Jenna and Tyler. She will be dearly missed by her sister-in-law Dorothy Brownlee, her nephews Tom and David and niece Carolyn. Predeceased by her brother Ronald Brownlee. Donna will be most remembered for her giving and caring nature and for her devotion to family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. A Celebration of Donna's Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Maple Grove United Church, 346 Maple Grove Road, Oakville. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Raj Ruparelia and Dr. Laura Harild and the Credit Valley staff for their care and compassion. Although I met Donna only a few times I
realized that she was a wonderful, kind, caring person with a good sense of humour.

Jamie and Leigh-Anne, My deepest sympathy to you and all your family on the loss of your Mom. I am sorry that I will not be able to with you during the next few days but I am out of the country. Your Mom was a great lady and will be missed by all. I will be in touch when I return.
