PIKE, Doreen - Peacefully surrounded by family at Grove Memorial Hospital, Fergus, Ontario, January 15, 2014 after a very full, much loved 86 years. She is now free to join her forever love, her husband of 60 years, John. Predeceased by her husband John Pike, her daughter Susan Howe, granddaughter Lisa-Dawn Kruszynski. Left to cherish her memories are her children Judy and Al Krist, Sherry and Pat Konkle, John and Annette Pike, James Pike, Laurie and Doug Bruce, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Neweduk - Erin Mills Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 1:30 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service in the Chapel at 3 p.m. If desired, a donation to the charity of your choice in Doreen's name would be appreciated by the family. Both Doreen and John as parents to my best friend Susan were very much a wonderful memory of the times I spent growing up with Susan. Many memories I cherish of times spent with both Doreen and John and their family. My condolences are send very much belated through my recent discovery of their passing.

Doreen and John Pike were the parents of my best friend Susan. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of both parents. They both, as well as Susan were a large part of my childhood as well as my early adult years. My condolences to all of the family members. I am sorry that I did not learn of there passing sooner.

My Nana was a Beautiful woman inside and out she had they most incredible little hugs and warm heart that always touched so many lives ,Myself and my Children Will miss her so Dearly
