DOREEN MARY WALAS At the Belleville General Hospital on Thursday, November 26, 2009, aged 80 years. Daughter of the late Edward Dodd and the late Mary Hamilton. Doreen Walas of Nautical Lane, Brighton, wife of Antoni 'Tony' Walas. Mother of Debbie (Jim), Mark (Linda) and Matthew (Jodi). Survived by her sister-in-law Doris Dodd, predeceased by her brother Edward 'Ted'. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Kristin, Michelle (Erich), Mackenzie, Elliott, Adam and Matthew and great-grandchildren Connor, Haylee, Ethan and Lily. The family will receive friends at the Walas Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Brighton, on Wednesday evening, December 2nd from 7-9 p.m. At the request of the deceased, no service will be held. A private family interment service will take place at Salem Cemetery. Donations to the Brighton and Area Community Care, c/o Box 96, Brighton, Ontario K0K 1H0, would be appreciated by the family.
