I sorry news about your Mom she sadly be missed. I loved seeing your Mom at Roberta place and sitting and chatting with her at times. She was one of my favourite ladies. I always remember her. I always said she had such wonderful family . My thoughts are with you all.

Doris was such a great gal...she seemed to relish our travel stories as much as we loved hearing of hers and Les's, and ALWAYS made us feel so welcome, whether it was at the cottage or Roberta Place. She had a way about her - genuinely a bit regal but with a canny dry wit that could catch you off guard as much as her surprisingly girlish smile and laugh that would light up her face.
Luckily she has passed those traits along to her daughters, all great gals themselves-each in their own way, and they in turn to their own daughters and sons, and she lives on in them.
We will miss our visits with her, and mourn with the family the loss of a lovely friend.

Have known and grew up with Doris back when we were young teenagers living in the beaches. At my sixteen birthday Doris introduced me to her boyfriend's boyfriend Treth...who later became my husband of 60 years raising 4 children. I especially remember all the laughs at girls club and our wonderful weekends with the club gals at Niagara on the Lake. My sincere thoughts are with Doris' daughters. I will always smile and laugh when l think of my lifetime friend...
