SCHAEDLICH, Dorothea Margot Passed away in Mississauga August 20, 2018. Predeceased by her beloved husband Horst. Much loved mother of Frank and Klaus. Like many others of her generation, her life was shaped by the events of WWII. At the age of 16, after the loss of her childhood home, she found herself a refugee fleeing the Soviet Army. After marrying the love of her life and having two children, the family emigrated to Canada. Her frugality and determination lead to the realization of the immigrant dream, a beautiful home and a better future for her children. A Celebration of her Life will be held at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1535 South Gateway Rd., Mississauga (Dixie Rd., 2 lights south of Eglinton Ave., 905-602-1580) on Saturday, August 25, 2018 with visitation from 12 p.m. until time of service at 1 p.m.
