We had the pleasure of meeting Mr Blunt and his late wife in the spring of 1986 when we bought our cottage on Black Bear Path.
We enjoyed listening to them talk about their early years at the cottage....the transporting of building supplies over a frozen Otter Lake ( there was no road then ); their encounter with rattle snakes on Salmon Lake and the scouting of various birds and other " critters " visiting their well supplied feeders. Mr. Blunt took the pulse of our lake.
I have lost count of the number of times he patiently helped me with the spring ritual of opening my cottage.

Thank you again Mr. Blunt...We will miss "checking up " on you; having you over for dinner and chatting with you.
May you rest in peace.

Mr Blunt was our cottage neighbour for 15 years. A hard working quiet man who loved being on the lake. He and his wife would be there first thing in the spring and stay till late fall. We know he was looking forward to this year up at the lake. Their Boys and grandkids would visit and this would always please Mr. Blunt. He will be missed by all on Black Bear Path. We hope in some way he will join us up at the lake. All the best to his family.
Our thoughts are with them,
Jamie, Art and Phoebe
