DOUGLAS RAYMOND FINBOW Peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Friday, April 10, 2015 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Marie Finbow (nee Vince). Loving father of Doug Finbow (Deirdrie Thomas) of Peterborough, Eileen Gerber (John) of Port Perry, Judith Bond (Elizabeth Heron) of Paisley and Margaret Taylor (Brian) of Burlington. Cherished grandfather of Miriam McGhee, Andrea Finbow, Jannine Urbinati, Sherri-Lee Knor and Ashley Taylor . Great-grandfather of Abigail McGhee, Benjamin McGhee, Cody Jackson, Courtney Jackson, Kaelen Knor and Tiana Knor. Douglas will be dearly missed by his brother Joseph Finbow (Colleen) of Courtice. Predeceased by his siblings Margaret Buchanan, brother-in- law Ev, Jack Finbow, sister-in- law Peg and William Finbow as well as his parents Ambrose and Robertine (nee Buckley) Finbow. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), Burlington (905-632-3333), on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 2016 Blairholm Avenue, Burlington (at Brant Street), on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Just found out. I'm sorry to find this out.The last time I spoke to Uncle Doug was at my dad's funeral and we talked for quite a while.To my cousins my deepest sympathy.
