MALLORY, DOUGLAS ALLAN It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Doug Mallory at the age of 70 at the hospital in St. Catharines, Ontario with his wife Cindy by his side. Doug and Cindy had a very special love affair that never changed in 33 years. We mourn but also celebrate an amazing guy with a huge heart who spread joy to all who knew him. He will be dearly missed by his sister Jackie (Ron) and brothers Joe (Karen), Robin (Briana) and Tim (Leslie) and by Cindy's siblings Kathy, Brad (Elizabeth), Bill (Meghan), Vicky (Gus), and Doug (Tara). He was also loved by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and an enormous number of friends from his private and professional life. Doug had a long career with Air Canada, and subsidiaries The Gemini Group and Galileo. This was followed by many years as Senior Project Manager for facility builds for TD Bank and he retired in 2015. He was a character with a great sense of humour and so much love. He had so many friends who have shared their love for him and all of the special memories they had. He and Cindy loved to travel, and their favorite destinations were Barbados, France and Arizona. Doug was so proud of his Harley Davidson bike, which later became a custom trike. Riding together was a great joy in their lives, and they enjoyed many adventures. Doug was a talented craftsman and artist, creating many masterpieces of fine and exotic woods. Among his many creative endeavours he was an exceptional stone carver, photographer, and glass blower. Doug was dearly loved by our extended family and will leave a huge hole in any future gatherings. He also leaves a smile on the faces and tears in the heart of so many friends who will miss him greatly. Due to limitations related to Covid, the planned funeral has been cancelled and a limited gathering will be held for Doug and Cindy's siblings and spouses. A more extensive gathering will be held when Covid risks have diminished. A memorial website will be set up soon where a slideshow can be viewed and fond memories and expressions of sympathy can be shared. Please visit
