DYMPNA FRANCES BEXFIELD

BEXFIELD, DYMPNA FRANCES (nee COYNE) Died peacefully on September 23, 2022, at the age of 97, at her home in Oshawa in the company of her daughters. She was the loving wife of Richard Bexfield for 67 years, till his death in 2017. Sadly, she was predeceased by her son, John (Shirley) in 2019. We were fortunate to have our mother for so long. She was a character - a great nurse, artist of many mediums - most notably China painting, lifelong learner, involved Granny, helpful and supportive Mom. Her family spent many summers at our favourite spot, Cawaja Beach, enjoying the water by day, happy hour before supper, and in the evenings, she taught the grandchildren how to play rumoli and poker, something the next generation will be learning as well. Left with sweet, fun, and loving memories of her, are her three daughters, Patricia (Martin), Joan (John), Sheila, ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, as well as her three remaining sisters, Reta, Norah and Angela and many nieces and nephews.
