Fast Eddie as he was known as by most of his "Brothers" . He will be missed as a terrific Mentor a Character and Friend to allot of us in the elevator industry . My condolences to Joyce Greg and Andrew .

To the Mckecknie family: I had the privilege of working with Ed for many years. He was the trouble shooter for the Eastend. We referred to him as the pitbull, if there was a problem, he wouldn't let go until it was resolved. I learned a lot from Eddie. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time.

Some of the best memories of my childhood are of my parents friends. Everyone seemed so old and so serious. All except Eddie. I can remember laughing the whole time he visited us. Of course, we'd have to follow him around because he never stood still :).
Our hearts go out to Joyce and her family.

Joyce and Family,
I only knew Ed a short time when I was a teenager. He made a huge impression on me of one of the nicest men I knew. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Your family has been in my thoughts for the last 2 weeks, hoping and praying for a positive outcome. We are honoured to have met you and been able to spend time in your and Ed's company. When we think of our cruise last fall, meeting you is always our first and best memory.
Ed was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed.
