EDWARD MOSSOP Obituary

MOSSOP, EDWARD WWII Veteran Peacefully passed at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Friday, October 26, 2018. Ed Mossop in his 97th year. Predeceased by beloved wife June and their eldest son Paul. Cherished father of Carol and Dave Rollinson and Judi and Mark Mitchell. Most loving grandfather of David Mossop, Jennie and Troy Ricci, Jeremy and Jenn Rollinson, Chad Woodruff, Danielle and Allie Mitchell. Precious "Great-Papa" of Emma, Noah, Leia, Zeph, Tilly and Ruby. Ed was a father figure who was loved by nieces and nephews and a loyal friend to so many. He was a highly respected businessman of A&P and Dominion, working his way from bagging groceries as a teenager to running the company and operating as the CEO for 10 years before retirement. In his 30 years of retirement, he enjoyed golf and valued time with friends and family. His loss will leave a huge void in our lives and hearts. He will be truly missed by all who had the honour and privilege of knowing him. A Celebration of Ed's Life will be held at Kings Riding Golf Club, 14700 Bathurst Street, King City on November 6th, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
