MARKOS, Efthalia - Peacefully surrounded by her family, on Saturday, December 10, 2011, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Ilias for 57 years. Loving mother of Steve and his wife Bessie, Martha and her husband Jim Kotsos and Jim and his wife Susan. A very special grandmother to her grandchildren Ilias, Talia, Daniel, Nadia, Tyler, Melissa and Mathew who stood by her side at all times. She lit up our lives, will forever be with us and will forever be missed. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Visitation will be held at HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME, 3280 Sheppard Avenue East (west of Warden), on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in ST. NICHOLAS GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 3840 Finch Avenue East (west of Kennedy), on Tuesday, December 13 at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Elgin Mills Cemetery.
