Egidio MASTRAGOSTINO

MASTRAGOSTINO, Egidio - Passed away on October 8, 2015 at the age of 88. Egidio was a master Cabinet Maker. He learned his trade as a young man in Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1956 from Mafalda, Campobasso. He was a devoted husband and nurturing father who loved his family. An avid gardener who took joy in his fruit and vegetable garden. Egidio is survived by his wife Teresa and his children, Carla (Antonio), Antonio (Cathy) and Anna (Arturo). He will be fondly remembered by his many grandchildren, Megan, Matthew, Melyssa, Emily, Luca and Kristina. The family would also like to thank Dr. Vecchiarelli and his staff for all their care and support. Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave.) on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine of Canterbury Church (80 Shoreham Dr., west of Jane St.,) on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery (8361 Yonge St., south of Hwy. 7).
