Dear Maureen
So sorry to learn about the loss of your Mom. Our Mom's were the last of the Moms - yours truly was the funnest! First pizza I ever had was ordered by her for us kids. . Also recall the time the boys secretly attended a pool/pajama party you held and she spotted them from the house - even in the dark!!

Eleanor was a bright light at Scarboro from the moment I met her...always had a twinkle in her eye and wonderful stories to tell about her amazing life. I will always remember her fondly. She was an inspiration.

I would like to say thank you to all Mother's wonderful friends who have reached out to my sister Linda and I during this difficult time. Mom was indeed a funloving addition to any family get together, party or event. We will miss her terribly. Having read all the kind messages, emails and cards that we have received I only wish Mom could have read them all.
Thanks to everyone who has touched Eleanor life and made it richer. ❤
Maureen (her daughter).

The life of every party and the life of the club. We will miss Eleanor’s smiles, quick wit, warmth and enthusiasm for life. It has been a privilege to know her and spend time with her. A shining star.

I was so sorry to hear that we have lost such a great member of our golf community. Elinor had the biggest, infectious laugh and her hilarious comments often bring a tear to the eye. We always wondered what Elinor ...and Lois would dress up as to attend our themed Ladies & Guest Golf Day and she did not disappoint. I aspire to live a life as hers...filled with friends and laughter and shared memorable moments. Condolences to her family....she will be missed.

I grew up with Eleanor in the 1930's on Fallingbrook Cresc. - her parents Mary and Harold were friends with my parents- we had many good times together with Maureen skating on the rink at Fallingbrook Public School. It is hard losing so many old friends and I want to pass on my condolences to her family. We took golf lessons together but she was always a way ahead of me

Dear Linda Maureen and family:
My sympathies to all of you at this sad time. I have so many wonderful memories of Eleanor - her spirited conversations, her laughter and her uninhibited opinions among them! She had an unmatched zest for life which was contagious and I feel honoured to have been a small part of that.
The beautiful photograph of her says it all!
